About Me

I'm Alexandria Whitlock, a REALTOR® with Maples Realty & Auction, proudly serving buyers and sellers throughout Middle Tennessee.

Growing up in the Lascassas community just outside Murfreesboro, I developed a deep appreciation for the people and places that make Middle Tennessee feel like home. I’ve always had a passion for business, but even more than that, I’ve always loved building relationships and helping others. Real estate allows me to combine those passions by helping people through some of life’s biggest milestones.

My goal is simple: to make buying or selling a home feel exciting, not overwhelming. I want my clients to feel comfortable asking questions, knowing they have someone in their corner who truly cares about their goals. I believe in leading with honesty, integrity, and doing what’s right, not just closing a deal.

When I’m not helping clients, you’ll often find me coaching middle school athletes through a Christian nonprofit athletics program or serving on international mission trips. Whether I’m on the ball field, serving others, or helping someone find a place to call home, I strive to lead with kindness, purpose, and integrity.

I’d be honored to help you navigate your real estate journey and celebrate this meaningful milestone with you.

What is the first step in buying a home?
The first step in the home-buying process is to get pre-approved by a lender. This helps you see what you can afford, shows you what a comfortable payment could be, & helps you clean up any credit issues.
Should I sell my current property before buying a new one?
It depends. Selling first can make your finances simpler, while buying first gives you more flexibility with timing. A home sale contingency is another option, though it can make an offer less competitive. The right choice depends on your finances, goals, and the current market.
Should I do a home inspection?
Home inspections can uncover potential property defects that you wouldn't otherwise see. Most potential buyers have an agreed upon window after a home inspection to walk away from the purchase. A thorough inspection is a critical step in purchasing a home & can even be a contingency in your offer.
Should I do a final walk-through?
It is important to do a final walk-through to make sure that everything in the property looks exactly the way you agreed upon in your contract. These are often done the day before closing.
